Steal This Video From Jim Rohn To Supercharge Your Business

social media consultant | the best of jim rohn for businessJim Rohn is a legend to all that walked during and will continue to be for those who walk after him.

Tony Robbins would tell you that he was his inspiration to build his business. Every single motivational seminar of any caliber will reference a quote or two from Jim Rohn like one of these top 18 quotes from Jim I found at Sean Rasmussen’s blog…

How long should you try? Until.
Either you run the day or the day runs you.
Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.
Without a sense of urgency, desire loses its value.
Commit yourself to something bigger than yourself.
Success is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.
Affirmation without discipline is the beginning of delusion.
Don’t blow your own horn, or you might just miss the music.
Learn to say NO to the good, so you can say YES to the great.
Failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.
Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.
Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.
If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.
You don’t get paid for the hour. You get paid for the value you bring to the hour.
Give so much to the improvement of yourself, that you don’t have time to criticize others.
You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.
Effective communication is 20% what you know and 80% how you feel about what you know.
If someone is going down the wrong road, he doesn’t need motivation to speed him up. What he needs is education to turn him around.

So how can this help you in your business?

Well let’s think outside the box, shall we?

If you aren’t a video ninja and have no desire to become one or believe you can – that’s ok thanks to YouTube. All you need to do is find inspiring well done videos from other people you can use to invigorate your audience into a rabid state of, “Oh yeah, let’s do this.”

For example, if you were promoting your services as a Life Coach, or you had a weight loss program, time management program or even financial program why re-create the wheel?

Do what many top internet marketers have already figured out…borrow what’s out there now.

You can easily find videos from news sources such as CNN or MSN to put a video on your blog or sales page that says “as seen on CNN”. No better endorsement can come for the need and validity of your service than a respected media outlet.

In the case of this video, you could simply have it play with compelling copy in your sales copy below the video bridging the gap between Jim saying, “Walk away from the 90% of people who will never make a change to take their life to the next level.”

Use the momentum from Jim’s God given talent to motivate to create the “why” they must solve the problem they have using your service.

Check out the video below and think about how you could use it. It’s worth the watch for your own inspiration but hopefully it will always open your mind to the possibilities on how you can do more to tap into the emotions of your audience to sell them the service or product you promote.

Social media marketing isn’t rocket science, yet too many people focus on tools and feature driven sales letters, videos etc. and forget about the most important thing…

The problem you solve.

The problem the prospect wants to solve.

No one cares about YOU.

And no one buys a value added product or service because they NEED something – they buy because they WANT something…

Tap into their wants, supported by their needs and break the pattern of price driven commodity based thinking.

Don’t be like the other 90% of people in social media who are failing, take your efforts to the next level, just by trying. Video works – try it – you won’t regret it!

Lori, aloha. What a wonderful surprise it is to see this Jim Rohn video on your site and collection of his sayings. Without a doubt, he was a one of a kind. As many times as I have listened to him and heard some of his same programs over and over, I never get tired of his common sense, wisdom and, of course, delivery style.

Ever since I first heard it, Lori, one of my favorite sayings of his that I used frequently is:

“Isn’t that interesting?”

Whenever I say that I smile to myself, think of Jim and the issue dissolves.

Best wishes to you for a fabulous weekend. Aloha. Janet

I never got to personally hear him speak – but Tony Robbins is one of his biggest fans and so I started digging into him more and more. I was late to personal development game but now I’m all in and the some. LOL Love that “isn’t that interesting” now I’ll think of both of you too. 🙂
