social media consultant | jessica northeyDo you know who Jessica Northey is?

Because at least 147,580 other people do if you check out her Twitter stats.

And it’s not just about number of followers…

According to TwitterGrader.com Jessica Northey is ranked as THE Most Powerful Woman on Twitter, ahead of social media icons like Liz Strauss, Lori Moreno, Alyssa Milano, and my all star favorite Mari Smith.

And Miss Rocking The Charts Jessica’s Klout score is a whopping 82 – it just doesn’t get better than that does it?

With her 15 years of media experience as a salesperson, it’s no wonder Jessica is awesome at engaging people.

A salesperson at heart myself, she seems to have the same level of urgency and commitment to responding to comments and getting answers. She’s easy to connect with and truly enjoys lively conversations any time of any day.

This need to connect people is why she has one of the most popular Twitter chats around.

Jessica founded the massively popular Country Music Chat on Twitter (#CMchat) which reaches an audience of 1.17 million followers with 22 million impressions. The forum takes place every monday at 9p (ET) and is a fast paced fun way to talk about the country music you love the most, along with connecting with celebrities and industry leaders Jessica brings on each week.

She’s also an incredibly witty and wonderful writer.

You can find her sense of humor sprinkled in with great social media tips at her daily column “SocialMediology 101″ on AllAccess.com, the web’s largest radio and music industry community.  Jessica offers tips, advice and general “Jessisms”. From meditation to how you can be a more positive influence in the world Jessica truly shines.

But if you asked her, she’d tell you her true passion is country music.

If country music is your thing and you want to rock it with Jessica you can find her at the Nashville Music Guide Magazine  and online community, where she is a regular contributor.

You can even hire Jessica to make your social media campaign sing!

As the founder of Digital Marketing Strategy boutique firm  Finger Candy Media, LLC, Jessica helps Celebrities, Musicians, Brands and Businesses use Social Media strategically to accomplish productivity goals.

Jessica will work with you to design comprehensive Social Media plans that engage consumers and provide meaningful, relevant and personalized content direct to the consumer. Her proven system involves coaching, synchronizing, streamlining Social Media platforms, design, finding targeted and relevant followers.

Jessica shows a special passion for social media, utilizing her talents as a Social Media Broadcaster to help get your efforts “in tune”.  Her strong belief in cultivating an organic following coupled with a laser focus on transparency supercharges her ability to clearly convey who your brand is with a compelling sense of authenticity.

So with the recent Google+ and Klout K+ debates, you may be wondering does all of this effort and resulting “influence” really matters?

It depends on what you hope to accomplish.

For Jessica, she’s been dreaming of making a massive impact on the radio scene.

In fact, she’s been a huge champion of radio for years.  With the social media beginning to bridge the gaps across multiple generations, Jessica has been an advocate of making radio the robust channel it could be by transforming it with the right mix of social media platforms and taking it to the next level.

So when she got THE call…you know the one….where FINALLY someone says, “Awesome job, how can we work together?”

She jumped on it!

That’s right the boys over at  the nationally syndicated radio show, TONY & KRIS IN THE MORNING came a knockin’ and she is officially rockin’ it with them starting today July 5th, as an online correspondent and a Digital Daypart to their listeners.

Tony and Kris Radio Show | Jessica Northey

And Jessica gives all the credit to her Social Media success saying,

“This just further proves that Social Media can help build your own online audience and make you an asset at a time when there are not a lot of radio jobs out there.”

Tony and Kris are thrilled to expand their Social Media community with Jessica at the helm,

“JESSICA has insight and experience in the industry and vast expertise and success in Social Media strategy; teaming with her to bring us closer to our audience makes sense.”

The best thing about Jessica is she knows her success can only be brighter by opening the doors to other folks working diligently to model her success, sweetly stating in her very own special way…

“We plan to highlight many other Social Media SuperStars as well!  I couldn’t have gotten where I am without the love and support of my “tribe” and friends I’ve made along the way.  Some have called me a trailblazer, but the truth is, I’m just passionate about what I do and so it’s very easy to be in the right place at the right time.  I’ve been extremely blessed and don’t take a single minute of all this awesomeness for granted. Thanks to everyone for helping me “arrive”… I’m going to roll out the red carpet for you, too!”.

Now that’s what I call a grand slam as a social media superstar!

You go girl!

Way to ride your success and leverage your influence to make all your dreams true and changing your part of the world one tweet at a time.

Keep shining Ms. Jessica Northey, you make me want to be a better social media-ist!

Well no one said she was a dumb girl, right? LOL. She’s popular in social media because she’s authentically amazing, she’s mastered it because she’s strategically smart. But always transparent. And always generous. She’s the gold standard of what social media should be. Thanks for stopping by as I’m a huge fan of YOURS. 🙂

I met Jessica purely be accident recently. I had the good fortune to be added to a group which led me to her blog posts. I read a couple of them and was immediately struck by her kindness and wisdom about social media. I felt moved to comment on a couple of occasions and her responses made me feel so heard and appreciated that I immediately felt I had found a friend. When I found out how large her following is on Twitter, I was blown away. She is an amazing role model for anyone using social media to market themselves. I am a HUGE fan. Thanks so much for sharing her story, Lori. 🙂

She is remarkable. Her following is enormous but not as huge as her heart, right? The heart is what keeps them in love with her – and me too! Thank YOU for stopping by to leave such kind words all the way around. 🙂

Lori, aloha. You and Jessica are a perfect match because you are both “Outrageously Authentic.”

What a terrific post on our mutual friend Jessica.

Lori, won’t it be fun to watch as Jessica takes over country music one tweet at a time?

Do you think the country music world is ready for her?

In all fairness, how can anyone be ready for her. She is totally out of the box yet her warmth wraps around you like a snuggly blanket.

Reading your post, Lori, is a fantastic start to my day. Wishing you and Jessica all the best. Until next time, aloha. Janet

Hello Lori,

What a lovely story about Jessica. I’ve followed her for some time and fell she is a friend and not just someone to tweet at. She is wonderfully supportive and consistent in her passion for country music, radio and social media.

She is truly humble about being a star. But most importantly, she has not forgotten that it all starts with being kind and generous. She embraces the adage that to have friends you must first be a friend.

Having a lot of people follow you on twitter doesn’t make you a great person. Jessica was a great person before there was Twitter. Now, those of us outside her industry get to share in her brilliance.

Again, terrific post!
Sara
