Social Media Assessment | Free Template

Whether you are a social media consultant or just someone who is serious about building a better brand, please take the time to download this free social media marketing assessment. This is the exact marketing template I use to create a social media audit for my clients (also known as the “pre-nup).

Managing clients expectations effectively can only be achieved by setting benchmarks of where their brand stands when you start. By setting social media marketing milestones identifying how you are going to take them where you need to go.

For your social media marketing campaign, it’s mission critical you have a full understanding the culture of the client’s company, their resources available to support your social media strategies strategies, and also level set with them what your realistic goals are for the campaign.

Accountability on both sides of the table is the key to building a long lasting relationship with your client.

My post, The 10 Components of The Client Prenuptiual Agreement at Jay Baer’s blog Convince and Convert, will help connect the dots to why you should use a template like this free one I’ve create here.  (Feel free to share)

“Optimize To Capitalize”

(A PROVEN Testing Road Map For Web Conversions)

Social Media Marketing| Website Optimization Tips For Ultimate Conversions

First Lead Them To Water, Then Watach Them Drink

Did you know according to a recent study by Nielsen/NetRatings, converts 12.8% of its visitors into sales?

And this guide can get you started down the same path!

If you want to succeed in this business you must focus on improving conversion rates as much, if not more than you do building traffic.

Even small improvements in your conversion rates can produce huge impacts on your bottom line. One of my large corporate clients  recently showed me every .10% improvement in conversion rate is worth 6 million dollars to them!

This is also a better way to beat your competitors in the PPC war!  If you can get better at optimizing your traffic, you don’t have to buy as much of it right?

Think about it this way, if you double your website’s conversion rate, you double the effectiveness of every marketing dollar you spend.

Thanks Lori. Both really useful.
The “website & landing page op guide” comes up under Scribd, and doesn’t download for free…there’s a popup to join for 1day/1month/year.

Oky doky – I have NO idea why that’s happening. In fact, I made this an ebook – so if you see the free ebook from Lori R Taylor in my side bar you can get it there. Yes, you have to give an email address, but until my editor can come in and figure this out it’s the only work around I have. I do NOT sell anything to my subscribers – just free tips etc. As soon as this is fixed I’ll let you know.

Lori, I just want to point out that YOU ARE A GENIOUS!!!

Lori Taylor November 18, 2011 at 6:12 am

Well HIla, I’m glad you finally got to know me. LOL

Just kidding – thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to high five my efforts.

Oh Hila – we just “met” but I like you already….tee her

This is just what I needed to take things to the next level! Thank you!!

Scribd is still requiring an email signup and so is your site, even though you already have my email address.

Perhaps you should get an online marketing assessment of your own efforts..?

LoriRTaylor February 2, 2012 at 7:43 am

Oky doky then. Sorry I can’t control Scribd’s way they do business – however, I’ve had thousands of downloads of the assessment at MY blog which you can find here.
Please enjoy your free download of my personal assessment I use for my real clients which doesn’t even require an email that I’m sharing with people to be NICE.
And then think about being NICER. It’s helpful to building a network online.
It’s so surprising how condescending people can be for NO reason to other people who are TRYING to do something. But c’est la vie…
(as my daddy says “no good deed goes unpublished”)

And yes I ABSOLUTELY should have outside firm doing MY stuff – as should EVERYONE…
It’s the same reason a lawyer doesn’t represent himself; it’s hard to win the game while acting as owner of the team and the coach.
I’m sorry you were so inconvenienced by Scribd process and so offended by my attempts to share this assessment.

Owning a business is one thing, but getting known-that is a completely different subject. One of the best ways to get known is by being the top link on search engines such as google, for certain keywords that have to do with your business. For this you need an SEO Company Utah.

Pablo Flor February 24, 2012 at 9:12 am

Great info. With minor revisions (mostly due to languages differences) I’m trying it with a client in South America. Thank you.
